A three-hour drive leads us to The Grotto National Park, one of our main destinations. A park surrounded by exuberant trees, a well-marked path through which you will walk for about 30 minutes to reach Indian Cove Head, where you can appreciate a spectacular beach, with smooth and large stones, and impressively colored waters. It is important to mention that it is forbidden to jump from the rocks into the water, as it can cause serious or fatal injuries, do not leave waste in the park, and wear suitable shoes for the walk, preferably without smooth soles. Duration: 3 Hours
If you chose Tobermory as 2nd stop, you need to know that, this is a picturesque town, with several local shops, food, and crafts, in addition to this a very nice bay to take a break, kayaking, and relax before continuing the trip back to Toronto.
Or if chose the boat trip, we include Scenic Glass Bottom Non-Stop Cruise from Tobermory. This non-stop glass bottom tour begins with a visit to Tobermory’s other harbour, marked by Big Tub Lighthouse, where you will view a 19th-century shipwreck. From there you will cruise through the Devil Island Channel as well as the narrow channel between Cove Island and the Otter Islands. This cruise also sails past the light station at Flowerpot Island with the final highlight – a photo opportunity at the two world-famous Flowerpots.
Duration: 90 minutes
The return will be scheduled after the cruise, a half-hour stop will be made for dinner, drinks, and washroom. The expected arrival time in Toronto is 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm approximately.
