Muskoka

Muskoka Gravenhurst

Located 1 hour and 30 minutes from Toronto, Gravenhurst is the perfect place for a different weekend. One of those unique activities you have to do is go aboard the Muskoka Steamship.
When you go aboard these boats, you are living a traditional experience of this beautiful region. Steamboats have been crossing Lake Muskoka since 1866, making this Muskoka heritage older than even Canada as a country.

Today, this attraction is one of the most visited to live this experience in Muskoka. Muskoka Steamships has tours between 2 and 2.5 hours, which will take you along the rugged shorelines and show you spectacular views of the small rural islands and large properties of Lake Muskoka.

After a nice trip on board of a steamship, an activity that very few know about and a favorite of those who do, the Cranberry Plunge is an activity that is available two weekends before Thanksgiving. In this activity you can immerse yourself in them if you are looking for the perfect photo of an autumn activity. The Cranberry Plunge is one of our most popular harvest activities. In this activity you will have to put on a suit to enter a pool with thousands of blueberries around.

This activity takes place in the town of Bala, considered the cranberry capital of Ontario and which has hosted one of the largest cranberry celebrations, the Bala Cranberry Festival, for the last 30 years.
