In winter, the annual Winter Festival of Lights adds a festive spirit to the city. This free festival runs from November to January and features outdoor light displays on the Dufferin Islands, Niagara Parkway, and Niagara Falls.
There are many shops, restaurants and entertainment. If you want to try your luck, there are casinos located in the city. If you’re looking for family entertainment, there are plenty of options including indoor water parks and several themed restaurants. For an elevated view of the city and the falls, hop aboard the Niagara Skywheel or the Skylon Tower.
This town also has Dufferin Islands which is a park that offers a peaceful natural setting. It is very popular with tourists and residents as the park has several small islands connected by footpaths and bridges. It is a perfect place to walk or have a picnic and watch the wildlife.
